Died: 06 Aug 1991, Sarnia, Ontario

 

BELISLE, Alphonse Joseph - 57, Sarnia, Ont., died Tuesday in Sarnia General Hospital. Born in Renfrew, Ont., he was a son of the late Andrew and Lila Mae (Vincent) Belisle. He served 25 years with Royal Canadian Navy. At the time of his death, he was employed with the Canadian Coast Guard, Marine Traffic Division, Sarnia. He is survived by his wife, the former Veronica Johnston, his former wife, the former Patricia MacDougall, Halifax; three daughters, Denise (Mrs. Henry Taylor), Dartmouth; Diane, Bedford; Erin, at home; three sons, Alphonse, Dartmouth, Michael, Sarnia; Chris, Halifax; two brothers, Homer, Reginald, both of Thunder Bay, Ont.; a sister, Lorraine, Ottawa; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body is in Robbs Funeral Home, Sarnia. A graveside committal service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Sarnia. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer society.
