BADMINTON, Eric Charles (Badger) - passed away June 1998 at his home in Crofton. The Badger was born in Victoria October 6, 1937. He was predeceased by his father Eric Sr., loving mother Ethel and sisters Pat Caldwell. He will be greatly missed by his faithful companion Chowder. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Susan (Fox), grandsons Travis and Ryan, son Duane and his first wife of 24 years and great friend Virginia. Also survived by many other relatives and dear friends in Victoria, Brentwood Bay and Crofton. As a boy Eric spent much of his time in Cadboro Bay, at the age of 17 he began his career serving in the RCN. During his 24 year service he visited many ports and made many lifetime friends.
