John R.B. (Jack) Anslow

Died: 23 Sep 2009, Victoria, British Columbia

 

ANSLOW, John R. B. (Jack) - Passed away peacefully on September 23, 2009 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital at the age of 94. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 72 years Agnes, Sons, Jack (Alma), Tony (Joanne), Daughter Janice (Sig) Neufeldt and daughter in law Joan. 14 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand daughter. Jack was predeceased by his son Richard. Jack served in the Navy from 1936 to 1960 on the land Bases of Naden, Stadacona, Cornwallis and Dockyard and HMC Ships Fraser, Skeena, Sioux, Crescent, Athabaskan and HMS Cumberland. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer 1st Class. The family would like to thank the staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital Emergency Ward for their kindness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at 2:00pm at St. Pauls Anglican Church Esquimalt Rd.
