O'HEARN, Rena Madge (nee Seaborn) - 75, Halifax, passed away March 5, 1999, in the new Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Brighton, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late George and Edith (Andrus) Seaborn. She served in the Second World War as a WREN and was a member of the WREN Association. She was very active in Westmore Lodge Tenants' Association. She is survived by her five daughters, Wendy (Mrs. Fred Coulson), of Windsor Junction; Nancy Carrigan of Bedford; Jane (Mrs. Edward Coolen) of Lower Sackville; Susan (Mrs. Barry Hadley) of Edmonton; Beth (Mrs. J.P. Gallant) of Dartmouth; son, James Michael "Mickey" of Fairview; two sisters, Velma (Mrs. Jack McGee) of Detroit; Doris Roberts of Ontario; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Murray; daughter, Sandra; infant grandson, Fred Coulson; sister, Lily Wilson, Mona Dunbar; brother, Bert. Visiting will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today March 9, 1999, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax. The funeral will be held10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 1999 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Burial in Fairview Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
