MOWAT, Gordon Grant, SLt, O-53878, RCN, died - 12 Dec 1959, 880 Anti-Submarine Squadron - Son of Leslie and Mary Mowat of Montreal, QC. Brother of Yvonne Wales. He enlisted in the RCN 03 Jan 1952, Halifax, NS.
SLt Mowat died when the Tracker he was crew of crashed shortly after taking off from HMCS BONAVENTURE. His body was not recovered.
