DAWSON, Francis Russell, AB, 11040, RCN, died - 12 Dec 1959, HMCS BONAVENTURE - 880 Anti-Submarine Squadron - Son of Arnold John and Emily (nee Coslin) Dawson of Calgary, Alberta. Husband of Joan Lucille (nee Comeau) Dawson and father of Michael, Patrick and Elizabeth Dawson of Darmouth, Nova Scotia. Brother of Arthur, Pauline, Vincent and Katheline. He enlisted in the RCN on 29 Sep 1949, Calgary, AB.

 

AB Dawson died when the Tracker he was crew of crashed shortly after taking off from HMCS BONAVENTURE. His body was not recovered.
