Died: 12 Dec 1959 at sea

BOTTARO, Jack Albert, PO2, RCN, died - 12 Dec 1959, 880 Anti-Submarine Squadron / HMCS BONAVENTURE - Son of Peter and Lily Bottaro of Toronto, ON; husband of Anita Helen (nee Verriere) and father of Kenneth and Keith Bottaro. He enlisted in the RCN on 14 Dec 1953, Toronto ON.  PO2 Bottaro died when the Tracker he was crew of crashed shortly after taking off from HMCS Bonaventure. His body was not recovered.
