Fate: Foundered 08 Apr 1957 with the loss of entire crew

 

GLENFIELD (Kingston built) was built for the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1946 she was sold to Kent Line Ltd., Saint John, NB. On April 8, 1957 she sailed from Liverpool, NS for Saint John. NB and went missing with five crew. Some flotsam was recovered, but there has never been an explanation for her sinking.
