The story behind the photo: Here's our platoon photo for the summer course of 1980. There were four platoons. The guy on the far right is LS Rick Fuller (21). He'd eventually become the COX'N of STAR. There's a girl to Rick's right and then Paul Williamson (18), who I believe has been instrumental in doing the history of HMCS STAR. His dad was CO later on. I'm (Bruce Walter (17)) on Paul's right in the middle row. Both Paul and I joined the band at STAR. Yep, I was a musician for my first 3 yrs of military life
