A ship's wheel flanked by fire and ice.  Ice for the ships ability to patrol the Arctic and Fire for CPO Max Bernays who, while Chief Gunner's Mate on HMCS ASSINIBOINE I18 during her running battle with U-210, ordered everyone out of the wheel house and manned the wheel and ship's telegraphs by himself while a fire, caused by shell fire from U-210, raged outside the wheelhouse.
