ROLLIN, Luc Daniel - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luc Daniel Rollin, age 73, of Hammond Plains, Nova Scotia, who passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Luc was born on October 18, 1952, in Werdohl, Germany, to the late Charles Rollin and Maria Anna Rollin. He later made Canada his home, where he built a life of dedication, service and family.
Luc proudly served 31 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, Navy . Finishing his career working on submarines. A commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty, discipline, and loyalty to his country. His years of service were an important part of his life and identity.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Claire Rollin of 37 years.
Luc is survived by his brothers Charles and Denis, of Quebec; his daughter Danielle Lise Rollin, of Orillia, Ontario; and his adopted daughter Tanya Lynne Rollin, of Montreal, Quebec. Adopted son Jeffrey Lloyd Rolling of Toronto Ontario, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Maria Anna Rollin, and his sister Julie Rollin.
