Bob liked to share stories of his deployment to various ports around the globe such as Lisbon, Portugal; San Juan, Puerto Rico; New York City and Bermuda.

Bob was a devoted father and his daughter was the love of his life, they shared a very special lifelong bond. Bob shared his love for travel with his daughter. They spent many summers travelling North America in their camper van, never turning down a challenging hike, a pastime Linda enjoys to this day. Though they visited all of the tourist hotspots, their favourite trips were returning home to Fort Frances where many memories were made with family.
In retirement, Bob focused on his hobbies, keeping up on current events, gardening, smelt fishing and cycling. He spent beautiful summer days curating his backyard garden and would happily share his yield with family. He ran errands on his bike in all types of weather, even cycling as far as Sleeping Giant and Fort Frances. He would ride his bike into his seventies.
Bob was good-natured and neighbourly, he will be remembered for his jovial humour, striking up a conversation with anyone.
Bob spent a lot of time with family and especially adored his two Grandsons Brent and Curtis Berube. He treasured their youth and spent as much time as possible making memories with them biking, camping and finding joy in everyday activities. His grandsons wish to thank their Pops for his guidance, love and generosity.
After struggles with health complications recently, Bob's family is relieved he is no longer suffering, he will be missed by many.
