In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
KOWALINSKI, Donald Edward - passed peacefully on November 19, 2025, following a short illness. Predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Carole (nee Collins), and companion, Patricia Tilley. Loving father of Doug (Barb) and Lisa (Paul). Proud grampa to Matthew, Thomas, Eric and Michael. Fondly remembered by the Tilley and Gorham families. Forever loved by his sisters, Phyllis, Marcella and Stella; and sisters-in-law, Linda and Jane; as well as his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Larry, Scotty, Allen, Al and Jerry. Proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy, serving on HMCS St. Croix. Dad lovingly remembered his uncle, Sergeant Wesley Miskow of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, who passed away on D-Day. Longtime employee of the Sterling Tile and Carpet. Dad was friends with so many and had a positive influence on all who knew him. A special thank you to Dr. Lee and the nursing staff on the 7 East at William Osler Etobicoke General Hospital. Respecting dad's wishes, there will be a private family visitation and interment. If so desired, donations of remembrance can be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Association or the Juno Beach Centre -"I would like to donate this gift in memory of Don Kowalinski).
