HOLDEN, John - 65 years.  On Aug. 15, 1989 at St. Joseph Hospital in Sarnia.  Pre-deceased by his wife, Doreen (née Chartrand) - 1983.  Dear father of John Christopher Holden, Sarnia, Catherine and husband, Trevor Haywood, also of Sarnia.  Dear grandfather of Rachel.  Dear brother of Robert Holden of Windsor and Marilyn Holden of Florida.  Dear friend of George Kuching of Sarnia.  Resting at The Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. where Services will be held in The Chapel on Fri., Aug. 18, 1989 at 11:30 a.m.  Rev. S. K. Fraser officiating.  Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  Mr. Holden was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and he was a retired employee of General Motors after 20 years of service.  Donations my be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.  Mr. Holden will now be joining his fellow mates who were torpedoed on H.M.C.S.
