Died: 21Aug 2005, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

 

BROWN, Norman Frank - Peacefully passed away with great dignity at the Veterans' Care Facility of Sunnybrook & Women's College Health Services Centre on Sunday afternoon. Beloved husband for 59 years of Lillian Ruth (nee MacLean), dedicated and loving dad to David, Duncan and Catherine. A loving father-in-law to Tim and Sheila. Proud and adoring Grandpa to Marina, Desiree, Deirdra, Darla, Christopher, Alexandra and Elizabeth. Norman proudly served on the corvette HMCS Camrose as a Petty Officer - Stoker, in the Navy during the Second World War. Norman enjoyed a dedicated 36 year career at Texaco Canada Inc. from which he retired in March of 1982. A private service was held August 24, 2005 at the Humphrey Funeral Home, A.W. Miles Chapel; interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Our family wishes to thank everyone who cared for Norman during this difficult time. Words cannot express our deep sorrow, but we take comfort knowing that he is in a better place.
