BATSON, Kenneth Bruce - Peacefully passed away to join his best friend, soul mate and loving wife of 50 years Lorraine (2003). Son of the late Bruce & Florence (Flossie) Batson. Proud father of Lily (John) of Toronto, Dan (Heather), John (Annette), Karen (Donny), Darlene (late Rob 2009), and Shawn (Cori) of Kamloops, B.C. Brother of Billy (Asha), Sharon (Carl), Carol (Marvin), Larry, Barbara (Jerry), Dennis (Bernadette) and predeceased by his brothers Garnet and James and sister Shirley. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Long time friend of Jane and the late Jean Leblanc. Ken was a retired Chrysler Local 444 employee after 36 years of dedicated service. He was an avid card and darts player, being a 50 yr. member of Windsor Men's Euchre League and a longtime member of the Windsor Men's Cribbage League. He was a member of the Windsor Moose Lodge 1499 and a member of RCNA Admiral Hose Branch (Windsor Navy Club). Ken was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave. (519)254-3223 on Tuesday from 24 and 79 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. If desired, memorial donations made to the Children's Ward at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus would be appreciated by the family.
