LAWRENCE, Muriel Geraldine (née RODGERS) - Of Cambridge, ON, died peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born February 28, 1924 to Herbert and Ida Rodgers in Swastika, ON. She served in the WRCNS (Wrens) at HMCS Cornwallis, Halifax, NS, during WWII. Muriel is predeceased by her husband of 41 years Carey (1989). Muriel is survived by her children David (Jennifer) and Barbara Lee (Barry Smith) and grandchildren Ryan (Amy) and Adam (Heather) and Jill and Scott. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on May 12th at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street North, Cambridge. Interment will be the following day at 11 a.m., Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto.
