OS Wilson died in a car / train accident while his ship was visiting Hawaii.

 

WILSON, Edward Lee - Passed away suddenly in Hawaii, on Wednesday, July 1, 1970. Pte. Edward Lee Wilson, aged 19 years, formerly of Dilke, Sask.  The funeral service will be held in the Dilke United Church on Tuesday, July 7, 1970 at 2 p.m.  The Rev. J. W. Hetherington of Regina will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dilke Cemetery, W. J. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Moose Jaw, in charge of arrangements.
