CHAFE, Leslie - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend. In her 53rd year surrounded by Linda and close family and friends after a battle with cancer.
Leslie dedicated over 31 years to the Canadian Military with the Royal Canadian Navy. Her career began in St. John’s NL at HMCS Cabot Naval Reserve Unit. From there, was posted to Halifax Nova Scotia where she spent most of her career.
Leslie was predeceased by her father Robert Chafe and parents in law: Marie and Denis.
Leaving to mourn her loving wife Linda (Coady) of 31 years, her mother Sandra, brother Robert (Marielle) and her special nieces Sabrina, Leona, Libby and Myrabel. Linda’s family: Monica (Eugene), Mary (Loyola), Marion (George), Denise, Beth, Randell (Theressa), Ron (Lucie), Brendan (Pat), Tom (Judie), Wayne (Debbie), Gary and Shawn (Michelle); special friends Krista and John, along with a large circle of extended family and friends.
Celebration of life will be held Tuesday May 7th at 1pm at Easter Passage Community Funeral Home 5 Cowbay Rd. Eastern Passage Nova Scotia.
