CAMPBELL, Tony Charles - The death of Tony Charles Campbell, husband of Anne Campbell, of Colpitts Settlement occurred on Monday February 18, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton on June 12, 1962 he was the son of Joan (Crossman) Murray of Riverview and the late Charles Campbell Jr. Tony retired from the Canadian Navy after serving for over 20 years as a NCI Operator. He had also served during the First Gulf War. In addition to his wife, Anne, he is survived by his sons, Derek at home and Shane a student at UNB in Fredericton; his parents Joan and Art Murray of Riverview; his brother, Andrew Murray (Elaine) of Riverview; his sisters, Connie Campbell (Boyd Colpitts) of Colpitts Settlement, Shelley Martin (Brian) of Riverglade; his special uncle, Gary Crossman (Linda) of Moncton; his maternal grandmother, Rhoda Crossman of Moncton; his mother in law, Ella Lutes of Turtle Creek; his brother in law, John Lutes (Carolyn) of Colpitts Settlement; and his faithful companion, his dog Nellie; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his father in law, Purdy Lutes. In keeping with Tony's wishes there will be a Celebration of Tony's Life on Thursday, February 21st 2008 from 7 to 9 pm in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home 114 Alma Street Moncton.
