SHILLINGTON, Clifford Thomas - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Clifford Shillington, aged 87, on August 24, 2015, in Saint Sacrement Hospital. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of almost 58 years, Linda (Partington); children, David, Greg (Bonnie), Derrick (Dawn), Laurinda, and Karen (Sylvain) Gamache; sisters, Jean Whitfield and Vera (Wendell) Huffman; sister-in-law, Donna (Charles) Cormier and brother-in-law, Eric (Rolande) Partington. He was a very proud 'Poppa' to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Nellie (Sutton); brother, George; sister, Pearl; brothers-in-law, Art Whitfield, Don Turkington and Gerry Partington. He was a proud member of the Canadian Navy, who retired in 1961 as a PO1 after 15 years of service. A special thanks to the family and friends who supported Cliff and Linda during their time of need. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, 1601 Chemin St., Louis, Que. Some of the ship's he sailed on were Haida, Kootenay and Iroquois.
