In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
OLSVIK, Richard Wayne - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Wayne at the age of 73. He passed quietly with family at his side. Wayne had a long and exciting career in the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy) and retired, putting the skills he learned working with and tormenting his baby brother Glen for the next 20 years. Wayne was known for his quick wit and an amazing memory. Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Richard (Dick) and Mary. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy, Ontario; and brothers, Gary (Diane) Bridgetown, NS, Brian, Halifax and Glen (Annette) Halifax. He is also survived by his Aunt Kaye O’Donnell, Eastern Passage and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place and at Wayne’s request, no Funeral Service will be held. Many thanks to the staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital, ICU unit for their ability and compassion. (The Saltwire Network 02 Sep 2023)
