Fredwin Valentine Hermiston

 

Leading Seaman Electronics Technician, 18343-E, RCN

 

Born: 17 Feb 1933

 

Died: 16 Feb 2023, Victoria, British Columbia

 

HERMISTON, Fredwin Valentine - Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. Predeceased by the love of his life Marion, July 10, 2007, he is survived by his loving daughters Sheila Lehr and Glenda Swain; his grandchildren Thomas Butler, Katherine (Gord) Nimmo, Iris Boux, Christina (Steve) Ditty and Shannon Swain. He is predeceased by his son Graham Butler, and granddaughter Shelly Swain. He leaves behind many beloved great grandchildren. After many years serving in the Navy, and decades with Oceanographies he retired to spend the days playing golf and bridge with friends and travelling the world with his beloved Marion.

 

We lay him to rest with a Memorial Service in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria BC at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2023. (The Victoria Times Colonist 09 Aug 2023)
