FRAZER, Herbert Alexander - Peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2000 at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 82 years. Herbert recently predeceased by Olive his beloved wife of 58 years. Loving father of Heather and Blake (wife Wendy) and adored grandfather of Kathryn (husband Paul), Kevin and Nolan. Dear brother of Gordon of Ottawa. A member of the Royal Canadian Navy, served overseas in mine sweeping operations prior to the D-Day invasion in World War II. A food industry sales executive for much of his career including 25 years with Gay Lea Foods. Herb's charming personality and friendly disposition will be sadly missed by all family members, friends and former business associates. Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd. (905) 602-1580, Mississauga (2 lights south of Eglinton), on Sunday, May 7, 2000 from 2-3:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. A reception will be held in the Funeral Home after the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation. (The Globe and Mail 06 May 2000)
