Survived by his beloved wife Norma Berry (Vettor) for 68 beautiful years. Treasured father to Judy Downey, Ray Berry (Rowena), and David Berry (Marisol) Proud grandfather to Steven Downey (Erin), Ray Downey (Meaghan), Stephanie Berry (Mike), Roger Anthony Berry (Kelley), Alex Berry and Michelle Berry. Treasured great-grandfather to Ciara Lynn Downey and Carter Downey.

Predeceased by his parents and siblings: Parents, Joseph Robinson Berry and Sarah Elizabeth Berry. Siblings: Gordon, Bob, Laverne, Bill, Leone and Betty.

Roger lived life to the fullest. Most remembered for his charming and witty personality he loved to tell stories from the past and relive happy memories usually around the kitchen table at numerous family gatherings. He was especially proud about his time in the Royal Canadian Navy and his beloved ship the Haida.
He loved sports and enjoyed cheering for his favourite teams: baseball (Blue Jays), football (Green Bay Packers) and Hockey. (Toronto Maple Leafs) In his early retirement years, he became an avid golfer at Victoria Park golf course and had two holes in one.

Above all, Roger was a man who worked hard to provide for those he loved most- his family. He enjoyed simple pleasures like having a drink on a sunny day with family and friends. He lived a blessed life, married to the love of his life Norma and together they raised three children who were Roger's pride and joy. He lived to see his grandchildren marry and have kids of their own.

Roger touched the lives of many, whether it was a passing conversation with a stranger or countless precious moments with his family, he brought joy to everyone around him. He will be missed by all who loved him dearly and will be forever treasured in our hearts.
