WATKINS, Kenneth Richard (Ken) - In loving memory ~ Ken was born on April 15th, 1937 in Lacombe, Alberta and passed away suddenly on September 13th, 2022 at his residence in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 85 years.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy, to whom he was married for 63 years; one daughter, Cathy (Ron) Becker; two sons, David (Shelly) and Robert (Nancy); four grandchildren, Joy, Bradley, Spencer and Sydney; one sister, Sherlie McNeill; one brother, Lorne (Jackie); two sisters-in-law, Janice and Donna; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Maury and Gordon.
Ken served in the Canadian Armed Forces with Naval Air for 25 years. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #25 and the Vernon Good Sam Club. The predominate passion in Ken's life was living and breathing "anything electronics" including computers in his senior years. He was a very kind and loving man and will be missed by all those who knew him.
In respecting Ken's wishes, he was cremated and there will be no Funeral Service held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Ken to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, 2101-32nd Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 5L2.
