Elmer Finlay Cook

Born: 30 May 1920, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia

 

Died: 1973

 

Elmer joined the RCMP prior to the Second World War. He transferred to the RCN for the duration of the war and then returned to the RCMP, serving until 1951. Elmer married Helen Mattie Ogden on 24 Jan 1942 in St. Paul's Church, Sackville, Westmorland Co., NB. His marriage registration lists him as a sailor in the RCN. He is buried in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, Westmorland Co., NB.
