In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
TOBIN, Emmett Joseph - of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-six years. Emmett was the cherished father of Rosemary (Paul) Delaney, Marilyn, Maureen (Bruce) Hurl and Teresa, devoted grandfather to Patrick and Brendan Delaney, Ryan Hurl, Liam and Gillian Tobin-Huxley. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anita, in 2005 as well as his young grandson, Kieran Hurl, in 1995. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Colonel Belcher Care Facility in Calgary. A Memorial Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columban's Church, Cornwall, Ontario on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Columban's Cemetery in Cornwall, Ontario.
