In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HILLIER, Clyde Calvert - Age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in St. John’s, N.L. Clyde joined the Navy in 1970 and moved to Halifax where he found the love of his life Judy. She wasn’t only his wife but his buddy and wingman. Clyde leaves behind to mourn, his beloved wife Judy; beautiful daughter, Brooklyn (Kim); wonderful son, Collin (Colleen); awesome grandsons, Branden, Logan and Keagen, who he loved dearly; and three grand-dogs who loved to see him visit. He also leaves his sisters, Mary (Mike), Lynne (George), Brenda (Jim); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mom and dad; and sister, Janet. We wish to thank Palliative Care (Devon) for all that he has done for us and our family doctor Dr. S. Premsagar for always being there for us. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home on Lacewood Drive. COVID-19 restrictions apply, proof of double vaccine and photo ID required.
