They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
DUNN, William Philip Petty Officer, VR4505, RNCVR, killed - 06 Dec 1917, HMCS MARGARET - Son of Richard H. and Emily Dunn, of Plymouth, England. Husband of Ethel Dunn, of Kingston, ON.
PO Dunn died of shock due to injuries resulting from the Halifax Explosion. He is buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Halifax along with his wife and daughter.
