Service info: Ken served in the RCN as a Radioman from 1966 to 1970
Memories of my time in: I do remember taking a NBCD course at Esquimalt in the summer of 1968 and while there at the Seamen's Mess watched the landing of Neil Armstrong on the Moon.
Another memorable event was during the Naval Assembly of July 1, 1967 at Halifax another ship near us broke loose from her mooring and there was a rush to secure that ship to ensure that she did not brush up against any other warship..
