KELLY, Kenneth Joseph, AB, V47918, RCNVR, MPK - 14 Oct 1944, HMCS MAGOG - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kelly, of Bear River, PEI; husband of Willianna Kelly, of Arnprior, ON.

 

AB Kelly died when his ship, HMCS MAGOG was torpedoed and severely damaged by U-1223 on 14 Oct 1944. His body was not recovered.

HMCS QUEEN CHARLOTTE - Enlisted 31 Aug 1942.  Commenced Active Service 01 Oct 1942

HMCS CLAYOQUOT - Served in CLAYOQUOT 26 Feb 1942 - 09 Jul 1943 as an OS, RCNVR

HMCS KENOGAMI - Served in KENOGAMI 16 Jul 1943 - 08 Sep 1943 as an OS, RCNVR

HMCS MAGOG - Drafted to MAGOG 06 Jun 1944 as an AB, RCNVR
