Stewart Arthur Orchard was born on 24 December 1912, in Saskatchewan to Arthur Ernest and Eva Beatrice (née Harding). He married Betty Irene Best in 1949, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He died on 11 Dec at the age of 66.
