In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar

SHEPLAWY, Eugene Joseph - Survived by Anne, his wife of 66 years, and sons Dwayne and Derek (Kathleen). A veteran of the Korean War, Gene served in the Canadian Navy for thirty years, including three years as a submariner with the British & Australian Navies. An avid golfer, he enjoyed country music, hunting and fishing and being in the woods, and cheering for his favourite Edmonton sports teams. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3024 Jacklin Road, on February 5th at 11am. Donations to the Salvation Army or Westshore. (Victoria Times Colonist 02 Feb 2022)
