Died: 18 Feb 2006

 

PERRIGO, William Douglas Haig - Born in Calgary, Alberta October 13, 1918 was peacefully taken on February 18th to be with his Lord and Saviour. He will be dearly missed by, his wife of 60 years, Doreen, his children Beverley, Betty (Barry), Dwight (Sandra), Neil (Sherry) and all of his adoring grandchildren. Doug served as Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1940-1945. Doug will be remembered for his quick wit, his many years involved in performing music and his love for working with his hands. We look forward to being reunited one day, our dear dad and grandpa. A memorial service will be held at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Drive on Wednesday February 22nd at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family would welcome donations to the Salvation Army.
