McKNIGHT, Randy Peter - 40, Timberlea, Halifax County, died July 10, 1993, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Ottawa, he was a son of Elizabeth (Betty) (Crawford) Brazeau, Gloucester, Ont., and the late David McKnight. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy for 24 years and was chief petty officer second class aboard the HMCS Preserver. He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Ann MacDonald; son, Jody, Ottawa; two brothers, David, Chilliwack, B.C.; Bill, Kingston, Ont.; two sisters, Diane Brazeau, Kanata, Ont.; Paula Cuerier, Ottawa; step-father, Paul Brazeau, Gloucester. A military funeral will be 2 p.m. today in St. Brendans Chapel, CFB Stadacona, Padre Julien Beaulieu and Padre Bruce MacKenzie officiating. Cremation to follow. A reception will be held following the service aboard the HMCS Preserver. Burial will be at sea at a later date. No flowers by request.
