Jack was a SUP TECH / Storesman – I believe that he spent a number of years as the CPO2 Chief Storesman / Supply Department Co-ordinator in PROTECTEUR in Halifax in the late 1970s early 1980’s and then was promoted to CPO1 . In about 1984 he was commissioned as a Lt(N). He was on my Sea Logistics 8501 Course ( 18 Jan-08 Feb 85) at CFSAL, Borden where he was a mentor to all of the other much younger Naval Logisticians who were on his course. He then served as Assistant Supply Officer and Supply Officer in two steamers in MARLANT before retiring in the early 1990’s . He may have served as a CIC officer after he left the Reg Force as I know he was involved with the RCSCC 1 NELSON based out of HMCS SCOTIAN about 1994. (submitted by Robert (Bob) Manzer)
