William (Bill) Green

Born: 23 Sep 1925, London, Ontario

 

Died: 27 Oct 1997, Vancouver, British Columbia

 

William (Bill) Green served in the RCNVR as a Telegraphist during the Second World War.  He was called up to active service at HMCS PREVOST on 25 Feb 1944. After the war Bill remained in the field of communications working 45 years with CPTel, a subsidiary of Canadian Pacific Railway & later under CNCPtel, Unitel.
