SAVOIE, Maurice Arthur, Sto 2c, V32119, RCNVR, Died of Wounds - 23 Feb 1943, HMCS WEYBURN - Son of Arthur Savoie, and of Lea Savoie, of Toronto, ON.
Stoker Savoie died 23 Feb 1943 at the Military Hospital in Gibraltar from injuries he received when HMCS WEYBURN was sunk. He was buried at sea off Europa Point near Gibraltar with full naval honours.
