EWART, James Lloyd (Jim) - Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Mon. October 4th, 2010 at the age of 93. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Edith and by siblings Allen, David Irving, Harold, Madeline, Agnes, George and Arlie. Survived by son Dennis Ewart (Bonnie), daughter Wendy McDonnell (Michael), grandchildren Chris (Nicole), Stephen, Jan (Mark), Jenny (Paul), Robin (Drew), Jonathan (Sherri), Jessica and great grandchildren Mackenzie, McCully, Keegan, Hayden and Madison. Those who knew Jim will remember him for his hard work ethic. He served in the Navy during WWII. Jim was extremely devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their care and compassion. Friends may call at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W., Oshawa (905-721-1234), on Friday, Oct. 8th from 12 noon until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 P.M. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated.
