In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HUSARSKI, Walter Donald - Peacefully on Saturday, August 1, at Concordia Hospital, secure in the love of his family, Walter, dearly beloved husband of Edith, passed away at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents Karl and Eva, as well as five brothers and two sisters. Besides his wife Edith, Walter leaves to mourn his children Patrick (Crystal), Lorraine (Gordon Bailey), George (Shirley), Teresa (Jim Saunders) and Angela (Blake Everett) as well as ten grandchildren: Holly (Bob), Dennis, David (Teresa), Cindy, Darren (Leigh), Kirk (Michelle), Kerrie, Marnie, Jason and Rebecca and one great grandson Christian. Walter was very proud to have served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1940 to 1945. He was employed at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as a scenic artist for 28 years. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at the River East Personal Care Home, especially Lawrence, Christine, Candace, and Sherri. we would also like to thank Karen, Kay, Doris, and Stella for their wonderful support and love. Special thanks to Father Ray Baudry for all that he has done for our family.
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be So He closed his arms around you and whispered "Come to me". You didn't deserve what you went through So He gave you rest God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best. And when He saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again We will love you forever.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Parish, 264 Donwood Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Association.
