Brooks, Helen May, Ordinary Wren, W70245, RCN, died 22 Nov 1967, CFB CORNWALLIS - Age 19. Ordinary Wren. Passed away in CFB Cornwallis, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia due to a traffic accident during a snowstorm. Born in Ottawa, Ontario she was the daughter of Deryck Brooks of West Vancouver and Normina of Edmonton. She was the sister of William and Jean. Helen Brooks enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy on 05 September 1967 in Edmonton, Alberta. She is buried in Westlawn Memorial Gardens in Edmonton, Alberta.
