RADFORD, Russel - Peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Sudbury Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. Loving husband of 59 years to Audrey. Beloved father of Doug (Denise), Russ (Laura), Jeanne Dumas (Gerald), Ken (Debbie) and Laura Harten (Roy). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Erin, Josh, Tracey, Chris, Karen, Melissa, Sarah, Stephanie, Katherine, Gord, John, Heather, Sherri, Michael, Brandilyn, David, Jason, Sarah, Mandy, Beth, Emily and the late Eric. Great grandfather of many. Brother of Ethel Fletcher (late Gordon) and the late Evelyn DeGraw (Roy), Art (Grace), Helen Parr (Gord Weeks), Ron (Dorothy), George (Marjorie), Mary Caldwell (Ray) and Ruth Radford. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Roesler (late Ed) of Virginia and the late Stanley Cappellini (Pauline) of Pennsylvania. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Russel was involved with the community through Scouting, Tyros, St. Johns Ambulance, Navel Vets Association, a Legion member, Newman Foundation & Cadet Corps and a member of Willowgrove United Church. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, June 9, 2005 from 6-9 and again on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Willowgrove United Church from11:45 am -12:45 pm. Funeral service on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Willowgrove United Church at 1 pm. Rev. Bruce McLiesh officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
