Neil Vaughn Dickie

 

Born: 1925

 

Died: 10 Apr 1968, Burnaby Heights, Vancouver, British Columbia

 

DICKIE, Neil Vaughn - aged 43 years, late of 1949 Horizon St., Abbotsford, BC. Survived by his loving wife Audrey; 3 sons, Glen, ALlen and Warren at home; his mother, Mrs. E. Dickie, Burnaby; brother Charles, Burnaby and sister, Mrs. E. (Marion) Berg, New Westminster. Funeral service Monday, April 15, at 1 p.m. from Royal Funeral Chapel, on Kingsway at Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, Rev. Geo. Search officiating. Interment Ocean View Burial Park.

 

Neil's brother Charles Dickie also served in the Navy during WW2.  Their brother Lance Corporal Malcolm Harry Dickie of the 1st Battalion, The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada was killed in action in Germany on 28 Feb 1945
