GALLOWAY, Nelson Murray, AB, RCN, died- 23 Oct 1969, HMCS KOOTENAY - Son of Dave and Elizabeth Galloway of Hamilton, ON; brother of Linda Galloway of Peterborough, ON.

 

AB Nelson Galloway joined the RCN 17 Jun 1968 in Hamilton, ON.  He was one of nine sailors who died as a result of a gearbox explosion and fire aboard HMCS Kootenay. AB Galloway is buried in the Brookwood Military Cemetery Surrey, United Kingdom, Canadian Annexe, Row A, Grave 3.
