PATTIMORE, David Montgomery (Dave) - age 80, of Dartmouth. It is with great sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of Dave on December 23, 2019 in Hospice Halifax. Born in Toronto, Ont., he was a son of the late Grace (Shaw) and Roy Pattimore. Dave served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 13 years followed by 26 years as a Mechanical Fitter Group Foreman at the HMC Dockyard. He also served as CPO First Class Engineer with HMCS Scotian for many years. He enjoyed curling at the Dartmouth Curling Club. Dave is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Kevin) Cutler, Kimberley Pattimore (Danny), Karen (Jim) Johnson, Kathy (Jamie) Leights; grandchildren, Miranda, Ryan, Stephen, DJ, Michael, Josh, Alexa, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Nash and Everett. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara (Don) Hanmore. Dave was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Beverly (Dauphinee); daughter, Linda; and brother, Robert "Bob". Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Halifax.
