SPENCER, William John Lt (P), O-69210, RCN, died - 24 Apr 1952, HMCS SHEARWATER, 880 Anti-Submarine Squadron - Son of Watson and Ethel Spencer; husband of Marion Spencer; father of Christopher and Phillip Spencer; brother of Barry Spencer.

 

Lt Spencer died when his Avenger crashed near HMCS Shearwater in Eastern Passage, NS shortly after take-off.
