SANDERSON, George Frankland, Sick Berth PO, V/34475, RCNVR, died - 17 Jan 1946, HMCS ONTARIO - Husband of Dorothy R. Sanderson, of Greenfield Park.

 

SB PO Sanderson transferred from the Royal Marine on 14 Aug 1941.  He died in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, NY of bladder cancer.  He is buried in the Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, QC.

HMS DEVONSHIRE - Served in Devonshire 09 Aug 1944 - 04 Jan 1945 as a SB PO, RCNVR

HMCS ONTARIO - Drafted to Ontario 26 Apr 1945 as a SB PO, RCNVR
