VANSTONE, Russell David - Funeral services will be held today for Petty Officer Russell David VanStone, who died Tuesday as the result of a fall from HMCS Restigouche at naval drydocks in Brooklyn. A crew member of the Restigouche, he is survived by his wife. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. from St. Michael's Chapel, Stadacona, with Rev. B.A. Pedgler officiating. Remains, which are resting at Mattatall's funeral home, Dartmouth, will be flown to Bellville, Ontario, for interment. (Halifax Mail-Star, Friday, 14 Aug 1964 / Researched by George Newbury)
