PELLETIER, Joseph Emile Richard, AB, A158, RCNR MPK - 19 Oct 1940, HMCS BRAS D'OR - son of Oscar and Rose Delima Pelletier; husband of Noella Pelletier, all of Montreal, QC.

 

Joseph joined the RCNR on 28 Jan 1928 as a Able Seaman and served until 1933.  Prior to enlisting he served as a seaman in the Merchant Marine. Shortly after the outbreak of WW2 he enlisted in the RCNR for the duration of hostilities.

HMCS RENARD - Served in Renard 27 Apr 1940 - 05 Sep 1940 as an AB, RCNR

HMCS BRAS D'OR - Drafted to Bras D'Or 06 Sep 1940 as an AB, RCNR
